From Tuesday 24 to Thursday 26 July 2018 Castelnuovo Cilento, in the province of Salerno, will be the location of the event "Back to the Village", organized by the Pro Loco of Castelnuovo, which will propose a series of exclusive events for the many guests who will alternate between characteristic narrow streets of the medieval village.

For the occasion, some food stands will be set up that will offer typical Cilento dishes, such as fusilli alla Cilentana, aubergine parmigiana, grilled caciocavallo, courgette flowers and fried zucchini; chicken, sausage and barbecued bacon, sautéed in sauce, leaves and potatoes, meatballs alla cilentana, homemade bread, and typical sweets.

The streets of the Cilentan village will also host the stands of local artisans who will show the metalwork, the art of embroidery, the preparation of wool spun by hand with the ancient method and the creation and production of wicker baskets.

Among the live shows, the touring exhibition for the village of "Zira" and "Poveri Cristi", while on the central stage, on July 24 Angelo Loia will perform, on July 25th space at Kiepò, while the event will close July 26th with the RittAntico.
