The salt’s path is an ancient road used by the ancient populations to exchange the salt drawn by the salt pans of Velia with the products of the inside territories of the area of Vallo of the Lucania.
The visit departs from the ancient city of Velia and coasts along the river Fiumarella of the Municipality of Ascea crossing the regions Vignali, Santa Maria, Madonna del Ponte, Favate.
We arrive therefore in the municipality of Ceraso, near the place Isca and immediately in the suburb of Santa Barbara where we effect the first stop.
