During the celebrations in honor of the patron saint san pietro al tanagro, the statue of the saint is carried in procession through the streets of the town to the village the tower where we witness the ceremony of the fountain of milk and wine. It is a very characteristic and exciting in which the two products, thinned with water, protrude from a fountain of wood with communicating tubes and containers placed at the top. It is an ancient greeting ritual propitiatory, that the products of the earth blessed by the patron saint, were always abundant in a country whose economy was based on agriculture and cattle breeding. Procession are exhibited the characteristic girded, construction of candles shaped towers, decorated with colored ribbons and brought in the head by women to represent a typical cross-section of another culture cilento.
