In Cannicchio you can see the chapel of the madonna del soccorso, built according to legend, the place where the virgin mary appeared to the aid of a girl seated by the devil. This place is the ultimate goal of the religious celebrations of holidays during the procession that opens the novena to Our Lady, using lighting fires along the way.
