On may 4, the image of christ is carried in the mountains, where it remains until the third sunday of september, when the crucified is brought to the plane. The previous evening there is a procession with the so-called "spire", a kind of wooden box, covered with a transparent fabric with painted chriSt.
The solemn celebration involves moving meeting between the processional statue of the crucified that descends from the mountain where there is a chapel and that of Our Lady of sorrows procession coming out of the church.
