The shrine of Our Lady of Loreto is a destination for many pilgrims. According to legend, the virgin mary was stubbornly tied to that site, so as to appear on several occasions to two shepherd children on the trunk of an oak. On august 23, the sanctuary from the traditional procession lit by hundreds of candles and enhanced by features such as votive belts reminiscent of the ancient greek worship in honor of the goddess hera. Then you reach the church of the rosary in the town center, accompanied by prayers and religious songs. The fair takes place on august 22 while on the feast day, the image of Our Lady is taken from the church and brought to the sanctuary.
