Every year we celebrate the feast of St. Nicholas of Bari the patron of sailors and craftsmen, known for its many miracles. During the festival in the past, the community came together with the animals in the ancient square to pray to the Saint to grant abundant harvests and blesses the animals, particularly oxen with traditional vicciddi (bread buns that were thrown into the crowd symbol men work in the fields supported by oxen). Today this tradition is renewed but instead of oxen are blessed agricultural vehicles. Following the religious rites and the procession, the festivities continue with a typical village festival that includes a tasting of local produce along with music and folk dances.
