Feast of Saint Elias the Prophet

The festivities take place in the morning when the faithful gather in the mother church of san giorgio to attend the religious celebrations, later organized the traditional procession up the mountain with the sacred icon of our lady of mount carmel, st. Elias and st. Michael Archangel. Arriving at the cave celebrates mass and back to the village. In the afternoon followed by another procession along the streets of the town and in the evening he is prepared a bonfire in the square in honor of the saint where participants can attend performances of popular music and the distinctive fireworks.
