For the first year Castellabate hosts the "Cilento International Buskers Festival", a prestigious event dedicated to the Art of Strada, scheduled for Friday 30 June and Saturday 1 July at Santa Maria in Piazza Lucia, Corso Matarazzo and Lungomare Perrotti. For two evenings, starting at 8:30 pm, Santa Maria di Castellabate will host the performances of over 40 internationally renowned artists who will fascinate the audience with various forms of open-air show: theater, music, juggling, mimicry, magic , Cirque nouveau, dance, acrobatics and much more. Space also dedicated to local gastronomy and typical handicraft exhibitions, in conjunction with the numerous commercial and dining activities in the area that sponsored the event. At the end of the fun-filled event will be awarded the artists who will have won the jury, consisting of children and teenagers from 8 to 14 years old. Memberships continue to be a jury, all children are invited to experience a unique and exciting experience.
