Diano’s land: TEGGIANO AND SASSANO (VALLEY OF ORCHIDS)

To the discovery of the ancient medieval villages of Teggiano and Sassano, castled on the high ground that lean out on the Vallo di Diano.We will visit Teggiano, one of the twelve cities that formed the so-called lucan Federation, that with its thirteen churches, is historically among the more remarkable centers of the territory. 
We will move then to Sassano to visit the suggestive Valley of the wild Orchids, an unique show to the world. Just available in May.

TIMING:

• 9.30 a.m.:
  participants' meeting in the Chili square in front of the House of the Mayor. Departure for Teggiano on a great tourism bus. Visit of the village.
• 1 p.m.:
  lunch in restaurant tasting typical products of the territory.
• 3 p.m:
  departure for Sassano and visit of the village and the Valley of the Orchids.
• 5.30 p.m.:
  Reentry.
