Where Cilento born: PERDIFUMO and VATOLLA

Discovering the places situated on the Stella mountain, geographical and symbolic center of Cilento, around which the whole territory is stratified.
We will visit the village of Perdifumo where a very ancient convent devoted to St. Archangel, anterior to 994, built during the dominion of the longobardis that had in great veneration the saint; the inhabited area of Vatolla, with its important convent dating the XVI century and the great building De Vargas that, from 1686 to 1695, Gian Baptist Vico entertained and today center of the foundation to him devoted.

TIMING:

• 10 a.m.:
  departure from Agropoli in bus GT (the participants' meeting is in Chili Square)
• 10.30 a.m.:
  arrival to Perdifumo and visit of the village.
• 1 p.m.:
  lunch in restaurant tasting typical products of the territory.
• 3 p.m.:
  departure for Vatolla.Visit of the village.
• 5 p.m.:
  reentry.
