"Rotunnella is the dialect word albanellese, and more generally of Campania, to indicate the Rotondella, this variety of olive to Harrier and widespread in Salerno, also known by other similar synonyms: Rutunnella, Tonnella, Tunnella. The name comes from the spherical shape, iconography and historical and is very appreciated for its quality and, as to be the staple food of the "Mediterranean diet" »

This is where comes the Rotunnella Fest, the quality of food and wine offered and the quality of the artistic proposals, with a single, necessary and required mission: the development of the area.

"The event will be a tourist and cultural center, but especially food and wine, and will take place with the creation of culinary stands, areas and various arts performances, all for the benefit of our territory and the enhancement of our extra virgin olive oil '

The Rotunnella Fest will also give the opportunity to recall the promotional Day Olive Oil, more commonly called the Harrier oil Festival, held for 22 years in the historical center of the village every first weekend of December.
